We received free lodging at this resort. All opinions are my own.

June is National Camping Month and we had to take our first camping trip of 2022 summer to Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park!!! This time around, we visited the one in Quarryville, Pennsylvania and it was an awesome time to enjoy great outdoors with my family.

If you are searching for your family’s next camping destination, be sure to check out Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ in Quarryville.
The family campground and cabin resort is located on 63 lush, wooded acres that adjoin a 100-acre park in Southern Lancaster County. In addition to the beautiful setting, you’ll find all the activities and amenities that make for great family fun trip!
They provide a camping experience for all levels of travelers. Whether you choose the comforts of a cabin, the adventure of tent camping, or you just want to park your RV in a full-service site, you will be covered!
Here are a few things we loved about this campground:
Tons of Options for Accommodations
We stayed at Lazy Bear Cottage. This cabin feature a full kitchen with oven that includes 4 burner stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, pots & pans, dishes, silverware, plus a table and barstools, full bathroom with sink, toilet and shower, two bedrooms and a loft space which was a hit for the kids! It also include AC/Heat and Cable TV/DVD player. Basically, all the amenities that you would expect with a condo rental. Outside we had our own picnic table, charcoal grill, and fire ring. We also got linens and pillows which are available for rent. We enjoyed all the perks of camping vacation without sacrificing the comforts of home.

Worthy Add-ons
In adition to linens, there are also a number of features that guests can add to their experience for a fee. We got a golf cart and my kids thoroughly enjoyed cruising around in it. Golf carts are a great way to get around the park, but it’s not a necessity. Everything at Jellystone Resort-Quarryville is within walking distance. However, I definitely recommend renting one. It is a worthwhile investment specially when you have kids tired after a full day playing around.

Exciting Attractions
When it comes to activities, Quarryville location does not disappoint. This weekend the weather wasn’t so great. Saturday was cloudy and not so warm for the pool area so the boys enjoyed what they love most about Jellystone parks: the mini golf!
At many campgrounds, they charge for activities like mini golf. We love that it is included here and they have a really nice course. My boys played it many times!

There are many wide open spaces where kids can run and play. The bounce pillows are nearby, and they have one for big kids and one for little kids. Because it rained, the boys end up not wanting to go jump. But they took advantage of the super cool playground and played cornhole !

We also downloaded the park app. They send notifications for all the activities happening each day. This way we didn’t miss anything and always went for the activities the kids wanted to take part in like Yogicise with Cindy Bear and Boo- Boo Bear greeting.

On Sunday it got a bit warmer and we enjoyed the water zone.
There are two pool areas. You’ll find fun interactive play areas and features, including basketball, volleyball, balancing pads, splash ground, water slides and more!

Of course, the boys had to go around and explore all the slides. We love that this park has different slides for different thrill levels. It was fun for the whole family including mom and dad!

The hot tub is a feature we all love, of course. At this park, the hot tub is located near the upper pool, which is a quieter area. It’s kind of a nice to escape away and relax in the warmer water!

Great Shopping Experience at The Ranger Station
If you need firewood or any other necessities that you night have forgotten to bring, just visit the Ranger Station. They carry all camping supplies, groceries, ice, wood and anything else you need to make your trip stress free.

The Jellystone Park Quarryville is located in Lancaster, a well-known Amish region in Pennsylvania. A friendly family sets up a small marketplace at the park every Saturday in the morning. They sell locally grown produce and handmade baked goods. We got some handmade bread for breakfast and it was delicious!
These are just some of the features we really enjoyed while staying at Jellystone Park in Quarryville.
And of course as happy campers, after a fun day playing and enjoying all the activities, we relaxed by the fire pit and enjoyed some grilled food and s’mores to finish off our day!
