Holiday Stay at the Hershey Lodge

My family was given complimentary stay at The Hershey Lodge through the Sweetest Families Blogger Program 2023. As always, all opinions are my own. Last weekend we headed to Hersheys for a sweet stay at the Hershey Lodge. It was our first time experiencing the lodge stay. We stayed at The Hotel Hershey over the summer and we loved it, but we had heard great things about the Lodge being perfect for a family of young kids. So we wanted to check it out! Check in From the the moment you enter the Hershey Lodge, you feel at home. The place is so inviting, warm, cozy and comforting. We could stay all day long just at the lobby sitting by the fireplace and admiring the beautiful holiday decoration and stunning Christmas tree. At check in you get complimentary Hershey chocolate bars and they also offer a kids check in for fun. Kids get to sign the “kids at Hershey Lodge” guest book, participate in a Hershey’s candy guessing game, and receive their own chocolate surprise. …

If you are thinking about coming to Hersheypark and are wondering where to stay, The Hotel Hershey is the place! While there are plenty of places to stay while visiting Hershey in PA, there is nothing compared to staying and experiencing one of the official resorts of Hersheypark. You can pick between The Hotel Hershey, The Hershey Lodge or Hersheypark Camping Resort. Last weekend we packed our swimsuits and drove to The Hotel Hershey for an overnight stay. The kids have been asking to go to the zoo for a while since we moved to PA last year, so this past Saturday I took them to ZooAmerica in Hershey. Keep reading to find out all about our day trip adventure. Things to Know Before you Go! ZooAmerica is known as being the North American Wildlife Park. In other words, it’s a zoo full of animals found natively in North America! It’s a family-friendly attraction with a focus on education and conservation. There you will find over 200 North American animals on exhibit. This past weekend we escaped the craziness of the city and headed to the Catskill Mountains in upstate New York to spend a few days at Kittatinny Campgrounds. A Day Trip to Sesame Place in Langhorne PA

I received complimentary tickets to visit the park in exchange for a media coverage. All opinions are my own. This weekend we took a trip down to Pennsylvania to visit Sesame Place amusement park. Sesame Place is located in Langhorne, (just outside of Philadelphia) and is a park themed entirely to the world & characters of the kid’s show: Sesame Street. Since the park is only about an hour away from our home in New Jersey we left at around 9 am (the park opens at 10 am) and got there just a few minutes past 10. Parking at the park is $30 and for preferred parking (which lets you park closer to the park) prices start at $50. We received preferred parking ticket and were able to park pretty close to the entrance! When you arrive at the entrance of the park, all bags will be checked. You can bring in water but no outside food. They will check your bags first and at the second gate, the staff will scan your tickets, and …

Family Fun Adventure to Diggerland USA

Visiting Cape May County Zoo in NJ

When my first born was one year old, we took him to our local zoo for a day trip. He was too little and even though he had a good time, he didn’t understand much at that age. So a week ago he started school on pre-K 4 and out of the sudden he started to ask about animals in the zoo and his curiosity grew. So yesterday we planned a fun family day trip down to Cape May to visit the County Zoo. I’ve heard great things about the park and zoo and decided that it was worth the drive. From our house in North Jersey to Cape May it’s about 2 hours and a half drive. So we planned accordingly to go to the zoo first and then spend the day down the shore. The Cape May County Zoo is open every day except for Christmas, weather permitting. The hours of operation are from 10:00 am until 3:30pm in the winter and 10:00am until 4:30pm in the summer. Summer Fun at the Land of Make Believe

The boys are in perfect ages to explore tons of activities and cool places New Jersey has to offer. So when I learned about Land of Make Believe, I knew that it was a destination I had to plan a trip to. The Land of Make Believe is a family-owned amusement park that features carnival-like rides, a water park, a Christmas barn, a few farm animals, some make- believe entertainment and much more. It was designed specifically for little children, so it is ideal for family with young kids. But seriously, anyone at this park will have an amazing time.
