Spring Season at Hersheypark

I received complimentary season pass to visit the park in exchange for a media coverage. As always, all opinions are my own. For many years, Hersheypark has been on my bucket list! After moving from NJ to PA on Christmas last year, I finally got the opportunity to visit the park with my family during the winter season of Christmas CandyLane. And now that I am living just a few minutes away from the park I can not wait to explore and have fun at Hersheypark all year round! With that being said, if you haven’t heard the news yet, I am excited to announce that I am one of the Hershey Sweetest Families for 2023! They have chosen me to be part of a blogger team who will be sharing all about Hersheypark experiences! Together with my family, I am hoping to be helpful in answering any questions you might have about the park and also share all of our experiences at the Sweetest Place on Earth!!! So let’s start talking about the spring …

Kittatinny Campgrounds – Our Stay at the Evergreen Riverview Cabin

We received free lodging at this camping. All opinions are my own. This past weekend we escaped the craziness of the city and headed to the Catskill Mountains in upstate New York to spend a few days at Kittatinny Campgrounds. Kittatinny is the pioneer of the river outfitting industry and has been operating on the Delaware river for 80 years! Their multiple locations are strategically located to provide a diverse selection of river trips and give you the best in riverfront camping. With two campgrounds across two states, there is plenty of space to discover the beauty of the Pocono and Catskill Mountains. Kittatinny Campgrounds has long been our family summer getaway destination. Before Gabriel was born in 2017, we used to go for a camping trip at the Kittatinny every year. We always enjoyed it so much! The contact with nature, unplugging, the sounds of the river and all the river water sports made us want to plan a getaway every summer. So this year, I wanted to take the boys to experience some …

A Day Trip to Sesame Place in Langhorne PA

I received complimentary tickets to visit the park in exchange for a media coverage. All opinions are my own. This weekend we took a trip down to Pennsylvania to visit Sesame Place amusement park. Sesame Place is located in Langhorne, (just outside of Philadelphia) and is a park themed entirely to the world & characters of the kid’s show: Sesame Street. Since the park is only about an hour away from our home in New Jersey we left at around 9 am (the park opens at 10 am) and got there just a few minutes past 10. Parking at the park is $30 and for preferred parking (which lets you park closer to the park) prices start at $50. We received preferred parking ticket and were able to park pretty close to the entrance! When you arrive at the entrance of the park, all bags will be checked. You can bring in water but no outside food. They will check your bags first and at the second gate, the staff will scan your tickets, and …

Visiting Cape May County Zoo in NJ

When my first born was one year old, we took him to our local zoo for a day trip. He was too little and even though he had a good time, he didn’t understand much at that age. So a week ago he started school on pre-K 4 and out of the sudden he started to ask about animals in the zoo and his curiosity grew. So yesterday we planned a fun family day trip down to Cape May to visit the County Zoo. I’ve heard great things about the park and zoo and decided that it was worth the drive. From our house in North Jersey to Cape May it’s about 2 hours and a half drive. So we planned accordingly to go to the zoo first and then spend the day down the shore. The Cape May County Zoo is open every day except for Christmas, weather permitting. The hours of operation are from 10:00 am until 3:30pm in the winter and 10:00am until 4:30pm in the summer. One of the best features …

Summer Fun at the Land of Make Believe

Thank you Land of Make Believe for hosting us. As always, all opinions are still 100% my own. Summer is all about making family memories, and this year we have taken that very seriously. The boys are in perfect ages to explore tons of activities and cool places New Jersey has to offer. So when I learned about Land of Make Believe, I knew that it was a destination I had to plan a trip to. The Land of Make Believe is a family-owned amusement park that features carnival-like rides, a water park, a Christmas barn, a few farm animals, some make- believe entertainment and much more. It was designed specifically for little children, so it is ideal for family with young kids. But seriously, anyone at this park will have an amazing time. I really like the whole concept of how it all started around 60 years ago. “Land of Make Believe’s founder designed & built with the dream of providing affordable Family fun. No longer would parents be “passive spectators.” They would, in …

Our Stay at Lighthouse Inn, Cape Cod

We received free lodging at Lighthouse Inn, and as always, all opinions are 100% my own. Every summer, we pack the kids into the car and go on a road trip mini vacation. We have visited places in Florida, South Carolina, Maryland, Pensylvania, among others that are closer to home in New Jersey. This time we chose Massachusetts! I’ve always wanted to travel to Cape Cod after hearing it is one of Massachusetts’ most beloved summer destinations, and now I totally understand why! With beautiful beaches, charming coastal towns, and a wide variety of unique activities, a getaway to Cape Cod is a memorable experience that you’ll be talking about for years to come. Dino Safari USA- Our Visit to Freehold, NJ Location

Thank you Dino Safari USA for hosting us. As always, all opinions are still 100% my own. This summer, I have made a commitment to try and find things to do and places to visit around New Jersey with my kids and when I heard that Dino Safari USA was coming to different locations in NJ I got really excited! My 4 year old is fascinated with dinosaurs and his little brother is just learning to like them as well. So yesterday we grabbed our dino toys, got in the car and went for an adventure at the Dino Safari USA drive thru located at the Freehold Raceway mall and the boys had an awesome time. During the entertaining drive thru experience you can get up and close to more than 40 life-size moving dinosaurs including Triceratops, Microraptor and the famous T. Rex my boys love so much! During the adventure you can learn about each continent and the dinos that lived there, learn about how dinosaurs evolved over time and discoveries paleontologists have made …
