Liberty Science Center- Wobbly World Exhibit

Thank you Liberty Science Center for inviting us to preview the Woobly World Exhibit. As always, this post is 100% my opinion. Now that temperatures are getting colder, I’m always looking for activities where kids can explore, release some energy and have fun. So I was super excited to be invited to spend the day exploring Liberty Science Center in Jersey City and to preview their new exhibit. In addition to the already amazing exhibits and experiences, LSC is also offering an immersive exhibition called Wobbly World which is exclusively for kids 5 and under. Young guests are invited into a bright, interactive, slightly off-kilter wonderland to explore balance, motion, an cause and effect. The Wobbly World exhibit is located on the second floor. Designed by renowned toy designer Cas Holman, it revolves around the concept of balance, draws inspirations from art, physics and an intrepid toddler’s first steps. We had the chance to meet Cas in person and learn more about this amazing collaboration! My boys had so much fun exploring the whole space. …

My Journey Taking Probiotics

Last month I celebrated my 35th birthday. Every year that I get older I think more and more about my health and how to nourish my body and mind. I think that when we get older we try to make up for all the unhealthy choices made in the past! So at the beginning of this year I decided that one thing I was going to take more seriously was taking my vitamins and supplements. And that’s when I came to know more about probiotics. I started taking probiotics after having tummy troubles. No matter how clean I ate, how much water I consumed or my level of work out, I would randomly have abdominal pain. So thats when I started my jorney to getting to know more about probiotics and introducing it as a supplement on my daily routine. I came across Kyo-Dophilus probiotics and that’s the one I’ve been taking since then. Kyo-Dophilus Probiotics are formulated to support healthy digestive and immune systems. Their probiotics deliver efficacy, quality and extended live cell viability, …

Visiting Cape May County Zoo in NJ

When my first born was one year old, we took him to our local zoo for a day trip. He was too little and even though he had a good time, he didn’t understand much at that age. So a week ago he started school on pre-K 4 and out of the sudden he started to ask about animals in the zoo and his curiosity grew. So yesterday we planned a fun family day trip down to Cape May to visit the County Zoo. I’ve heard great things about the park and zoo and decided that it was worth the drive. From our house in North Jersey to Cape May it’s about 2 hours and a half drive. So we planned accordingly to go to the zoo first and then spend the day down the shore. The Cape May County Zoo is open every day except for Christmas, weather permitting. The hours of operation are from 10:00 am until 3:30pm in the winter and 10:00am until 4:30pm in the summer. One of the best features …

How I Wear Sneakers with Casual Outfits

When it comes to seasonless footwear, sneakers are at the top of the list. They’re laid-back, comfy, and go with basically any casual outfit during any season. Sneakers, tennis shoes, trainers, active shoes, whatever you want to call them, it’s unlikely they’ll ever go out of style. You don’t have to be an athlete or even a gym rat to wear sneakers on a regular basis. If you like the casual sporty look and wants a few ideas of how to wear it, keep reading! Tee shirt, blazer and jeans Three things that I consider staple items in my closet. The white low top sneakers makes the outfit sporty but you could wear it to many occasions! Throw in a hat for a bad hair day and you are ready to go! Sweatshirt and Leggings This is my go to outfit for a busy day. You can’t go wrong with a black legging and sweatshirt over it. Add a cool white sneaker and comfort is guaranteed! Biker shorts, tee and a hat I’ve been living …

Summer Fun at the Land of Make Believe

Thank you Land of Make Believe for hosting us. As always, all opinions are still 100% my own. Summer is all about making family memories, and this year we have taken that very seriously. The boys are in perfect ages to explore tons of activities and cool places New Jersey has to offer. So when I learned about Land of Make Believe, I knew that it was a destination I had to plan a trip to. The Land of Make Believe is a family-owned amusement park that features carnival-like rides, a water park, a Christmas barn, a few farm animals, some make- believe entertainment and much more. It was designed specifically for little children, so it is ideal for family with young kids. But seriously, anyone at this park will have an amazing time. I really like the whole concept of how it all started around 60 years ago. “Land of Make Believe’s founder designed & built with the dream of providing affordable Family fun. No longer would parents be “passive spectators.” They would, in …

Transform Your Backyard This Fall With These 5 Ideas

Spring may be a few months away but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t start thinking about ways to transform and improve your backyard once it’s here! Did you know that eventually all types of your exterior tile or natural stone will suffer from the awful weather due to exposure to those elements regardless of where you live? You might want to think of ways to really improve the look of your outdoor space, especially before you tend to use most of your time back there once the weather improves.  There are several ways to improve your backyard and can also cost a lot of money depending on your space and what you want to do. My advice would be to start with something big first and then add small touches here and there. Here’s a few ideas of what I mean. Try New Landscaping One of the biggest ways you can transform your backyard is by adding new landscaping. I don’t mean to start from scratch if you already have a great lawn but there …

Comfy Outfits for Family Fun Days

Summer is almost coming to an end and this year Gabriel starts going to school full time. So we are enjoying family fun days to the fullest. Every time I plan a day of fun I also plan my outfit accordingly. With two boys 2 and 4 years old I am constantly running around and playing with them so comfort is key. Below are three outfits I used on the last few adventures with my family. Since is nice and warm I always end up choosing tee and shorts that are so versatile and easy to style. I am loving this length of denim bermuda. It’s super comfortable and looks very cute with a tucked in tee shirt! For the Festival of ballooning I wore it with a graphic tee shirt, chunky sneakers and my go to belt bag. The baseball hat is perfect for a bad hair day and makes your outfit stylish and casual! Shein has a pack that comes with 3 baseball hat in white, black and nude color for only $10! …
