Visiting Cape May County Zoo in NJ

When my first born was one year old, we took him to our local zoo for a day trip. He was too little and even though he had a good time, he didn’t understand much at that age. So a week ago he started school on pre-K 4 and out of the sudden he started to ask about animals in the zoo and his curiosity grew. So yesterday we planned a fun family day trip down to Cape May to visit the County Zoo. I’ve heard great things about the park and zoo and decided that it was worth the drive. From our house in North Jersey to Cape May it’s about 2 hours and a half drive. So we planned accordingly to go to the zoo first and then spend the day down the shore. The Cape May County Zoo is open every day except for Christmas, weather permitting. The hours of operation are from 10:00 am until 3:30pm in the winter and 10:00am until 4:30pm in the summer. One of the best features …

Summer Fun at the Land of Make Believe

Thank you Land of Make Believe for hosting us. As always, all opinions are still 100% my own. Summer is all about making family memories, and this year we have taken that very seriously. The boys are in perfect ages to explore tons of activities and cool places New Jersey has to offer. So when I learned about Land of Make Believe, I knew that it was a destination I had to plan a trip to. The Land of Make Believe is a family-owned amusement park that features carnival-like rides, a water park, a Christmas barn, a few farm animals, some make- believe entertainment and much more. It was designed specifically for little children, so it is ideal for family with young kids. But seriously, anyone at this park will have an amazing time. I really like the whole concept of how it all started around 60 years ago. “Land of Make Believe’s founder designed & built with the dream of providing affordable Family fun. No longer would parents be “passive spectators.” They would, in …

Comfy Outfits for Family Fun Days

Summer is almost coming to an end and this year Gabriel starts going to school full time. So we are enjoying family fun days to the fullest. Every time I plan a day of fun I also plan my outfit accordingly. With two boys 2 and 4 years old I am constantly running around and playing with them so comfort is key. Below are three outfits I used on the last few adventures with my family. Since is nice and warm I always end up choosing tee and shorts that are so versatile and easy to style. I am loving this length of denim bermuda. It’s super comfortable and looks very cute with a tucked in tee shirt! For the Festival of ballooning I wore it with a graphic tee shirt, chunky sneakers and my go to belt bag. The baseball hat is perfect for a bad hair day and makes your outfit stylish and casual! Shein has a pack that comes with 3 baseball hat in white, black and nude color for only $10! …

Thank you Liberty Science Center for inviting us to preview the Dino Dig Adventure. As always, this post is 100% my opinion. My boys have been on a dinosaur phase. They love everything from books to toys, they play dinosaurs around the house pretending they are one and are so excited to learn things when it has to do with these magnificent prehistoric creatures. So I was super excited to be invited to spend the day exploring Liberty Science Center in Jersey City and to preview their new exhibit Dino Dig Adventure which will be open to the public tomorrow, July 21. We received free lodging at Lighthouse Inn, and as always, all opinions are 100% my own. Every summer, we pack the kids into the car and go on a road trip mini vacation. We have visited places in Florida, South Carolina, Maryland, Pensylvania, among others that are closer to home in New Jersey. This time we chose Massachusetts! I’ve always wanted to travel to Cape Cod after hearing it is one of Massachusetts’ most beloved summer destinations, and now I totally understand why! Wayfare Plant-Based Pudding- My Kids Love it

I received this product for free from MomsMeet.com to use and post my honest opinion. Compensation for this post was provided. This year we have a bucket list of things we want to accomplish with kids during Summer. One of these things is to get outside for a hike or walk in the park at least three times a week. But with two little ones, you have to think ahead of what snacks to bring, because after a long walk all they want is something to eat. I have been packing some plant-based puddings on our lunchbox and the whole family loves it. Wayfare puddings have a perfect consistency and its very creamy with a smooth mouthfeel and a light richness. Its a bit different from the the dairy pudding you get in a box, but it is vegan and made with far better ingredients for your family. Their goal is to help people live healthier lives by providing their plant-based food options. They use beans, oats and seeds as base for their products and …
