Love Corn Snacks Review

This post is in partnership with Moms Meet and all opinions are my own If you have kids in the house, you’ve likely spent a lot of your time prepping snacks: morning snack, afternoon snack, outside walk snack, pre-dinner snack, sitting-on-the-toilet snack, just-brushed-my-teeth-and-I-want-one-before-bedtime snack. You get the point! It’s hard enough to just keep up, but to make them all healthy snacks too? Can be challenging! Since we are spending most of our days inside the house, due to pandemic and winter season, I try to get healthy snacks ready to go for the kids. Between fruits, veggies and yogurt, my boy loves a crunchy snack and I am glad I was introduced to Love Corn. LOVE CORN is a dry roasted corn snacks that is crunchy and packed with flavor. And the best part: is a healthier alternative to chips and crackers and we all love it. Love Corn are made with plant-based ingredients, low calories, good carbs for sustained energy, vegan, gluten free, refined sugar free and Non-GMO ! It comes in 4 different …

TruSkin Vitamin C Serum

This post is in partnership with Moms Meet and all opinions are my own. Do you guys use Vitamin C on your skincare routine? Vitamin C Serum is one of those products that I wish I had started using years ago. I was not aware of all the benefits it has until a friend who is an esthetician recommended I add a serum that had vitamin C into my daily skincare routine. I then started to test out a few products and incorporated this magic skincare product into my routine. Recently, I received an invitation to try TruSkin Vitamin C Serum which is a serum that uses a stable form of vitamin C that stays potent longer without needing high levels of preservatives. I decided to give it a try for a few weeks before coming here to review it for you guys. Let me give you a little background on TruSkin brand. Their goal is to help people reveal their beautiful skin. They only use ingredients that are formulated with plant-powered, vegan and vegetarian …

Breastfeeding Today Class

This blog post is in partnership with NJMOM, RWJBarnabas Health and Monmouth Medical Center. If you follow me on Instagram, I shared a little bit about a virtual breastfeeding class I took this past Wednesday with Monmouth Medical Center, an RWJBarnabas Health facility. So today I want to share with you my experience and talk about breastfeeding. For some background, I am a mom of two boys, Gabriel 3 years old and Raphael one year old. I was lucky to breastfeed both boys and I can tell you both experiences were very different. With my first boy, I had no experience and it was very challenging but I ended up figuring it out on my own. The second time around, I had lots of support, had a little bit of an idea of what I was doing but the baby did not want to latch. So with breastfeeding comes lots of possibilities and mothers may have lots of questions. But nothing that a bit of practice, patience and the right amount of support wont help. …

Persona: A Personalized Vitamin Pack

This post is sponsored by Moms Meet, but all opnions are my own. We are living in a crazy time where good nutrition is more important than ever for staying as healthy as possible. I have always been a fan of taking supplements, and I think that vitamins can help compliment a healthy diet. But most times I just get overwhelmed when I am on the vitamins isle in the supermarket. I just dont know what to get. So I recently tried a new way to supplement my vitamins and wanted to share my review of Persona. What is Persona? Persona is an online service that sends personalized vitamin packets right to your door. You start by taking a quick quiz to see which vitamins and minerals are most recommended for you. It is very simple with easy questions about your lifestyle such as how much you exercise, if you get sun outside, if you have any dietary restrictions, etc. It has questions about what you want to focus on the most such as if …

A Reimagined Halloween with Sun-Maid

Like many events and holidays, Halloween is going to look quite different this year for many Americans. As pointed out from the CDC, or – Center for Disease Control and Prevention, many traditions on this holiday are considered high-risk for COVID-19 transmission. The neighborhood we live in does not usually have Halloween celebrations and the NJ governor has not yet given a final word on rules and regulations for this year’s Halloween festivities. So, for many families that enjoy celebrating this holiday, things are really unsure as of now.In our family, we do not really celebrate the holiday. Our kids are very little (one and three years old) and they do not understand about the virus going on. So I have decided that, just like other 2020 events and holidays, I will just take the opportunity to focus on the positive aspects of autumm such as celebrating God’s gifts, sharing treats and having family fun all while keeping social distance, maintaining a safe environment and enjoying all that this season has to offer.I have thought …

Books- Great Options for your Toodlers

This post is sponsored by Moms Meet, but all opnions are my own. Reading is one of the best things you can do with children if you want them to have a great start in life and grow up with active minds and large vocabularies. It is never too early to start reading. With my first child, I remember I used to read for him when he was still in the womb. And then as he was growing up I was always looking for the right books that reached his milestones. Even if sometimes it seems they are not paying attention or listening, they are! Today, with one toddler and a three year old, its even more important to keep sharing books with them and I take advantage that my toddler tends to focus and engage a lot more when his older brother is around. I like to reserve a time of the day where I sit them down in the backyard or in the living room, put a variety of books out and just have …

Back to School LunchBox Made Easy

This post is sponsored by Sun-Maid, but all opinions are my own.  It’s a new world we are living now and we’re all adapting the best way we possibly can. When it comes to school, so much is up in the air right now, but one thing is not uncertain though, childhood is always in session and our kids are going to need lunch! Well, if your kid is anything like mine, they will need breakfast, a snack, a second snack, lunch, a third snack… you get the idea! My 3-year-old boy would start preschool this year, but it was postponed for 2021 so he will be homeschooled for now. And even though we will be mostly home, I want to keep a schedule and follow a routine, just like he would have if he was going to school. One of the things I have in mind, is to make lunchtime planning easy and fun. I know it can become a little boring at times, so planning ahead for what you are doing each day of the week can be one …

The Philips Avent Soothie Snuggle – A Baby’s Snuggly Friend!

This blog post is sponsored by Philips Avent. The opinions expressed are my own. Please note that this blog post was originally made to be posted 4 months ago (pre-pandemic) when baby Raphael was 11 months old, but it was postponed while we navigate this “new normal” lifestyle. Right now baby is 14 months old, he is still using his Avent pacifier and all opinions are still my own. When I became pregnant with my first son, I was unsure of my stance on soothers, but I was willing to give it a try if I saw it would be a good fit for my baby. Mostly, my main concern was always about the sanitation and keeping that pacifier clean at all times and safe for my baby. Pacifiers are one of those products where you might need to experiment a fair bit before you find something that sticks and I was willing to learn more. So when I was in the hospital they made me fill out a paper where it asked if I wanted …

Little Ones Sleep Program- How it helped us!

Little Ones Baby Sleep Program- How it helped us! This blog post is sponsored by Little Ones Baby Sleep. The opinions expressed are my own When my first son Gabriel was born, we had a really hard time getting him to sleep at night on the first month. He would take long naps during the day and spend most of the nights awake. And between little experience, diaper changes and feeding, I would get close to no sleep. Thankfully that only lasted a few weeks of the newborn phase and little by little he started to adjust to a consistent schedule and sleep patterns. I can safely say that he sort of set his own schedule and slept through most of the nights. Since then he has always been a good sleeper. He is almost 3 years old now, sleeps through the night and takes 2 hours nap during the day. Then why we needed a sleep program? When my second baby boy was born, I knew I wanted him to have better sleep habits …
