Family Fun Adventure to Diggerland USA

I received tickets to Diggerland USA in exchange for an honest review/media coverage. If you are looking for a unique place to take your kids, you have to visit Diggerland! Diggerland is the only construction themed adventure park in all of North America! “Here children and their families drive, ride and operate heavy machinery in a safe, family-friendly environment. Diggerland is the most unique amusement experience in the world.” Yesterday we had the chance to visit this gem for the first time. We had such a fun day and I shared a few highlights of our day over on Instagram and got tons of questions about our visit. So on this post, I’ll give you all the insider information to make sure you have the perfect day at Diggerland NJ. The Rides The park opens at 10am and so does the Water Main waterpark but the dry rides only starts at 12pm. So we planned to arrive at 11am. It was perfect timing to walk around and explore the park and also get our stuff …

Visiting Cape May County Zoo in NJ

When my first born was one year old, we took him to our local zoo for a day trip. He was too little and even though he had a good time, he didn’t understand much at that age. So a week ago he started school on pre-K 4 and out of the sudden he started to ask about animals in the zoo and his curiosity grew. So yesterday we planned a fun family day trip down to Cape May to visit the County Zoo. I’ve heard great things about the park and zoo and decided that it was worth the drive. From our house in North Jersey to Cape May it’s about 2 hours and a half drive. So we planned accordingly to go to the zoo first and then spend the day down the shore. The Cape May County Zoo is open every day except for Christmas, weather permitting. The hours of operation are from 10:00 am until 3:30pm in the winter and 10:00am until 4:30pm in the summer. One of the best features …

Summer Fun at the Land of Make Believe

Thank you Land of Make Believe for hosting us. As always, all opinions are still 100% my own. Summer is all about making family memories, and this year we have taken that very seriously. The boys are in perfect ages to explore tons of activities and cool places New Jersey has to offer. So when I learned about Land of Make Believe, I knew that it was a destination I had to plan a trip to. The Land of Make Believe is a family-owned amusement park that features carnival-like rides, a water park, a Christmas barn, a few farm animals, some make- believe entertainment and much more. It was designed specifically for little children, so it is ideal for family with young kids. But seriously, anyone at this park will have an amazing time. I really like the whole concept of how it all started around 60 years ago. “Land of Make Believe’s founder designed & built with the dream of providing affordable Family fun. No longer would parents be “passive spectators.” They would, in …

Liberty Science Center- The New Dino Dig Exhibit

Thank you Liberty Science Center for inviting us to preview the Dino Dig Adventure. As always, this post is 100% my opinion. My boys have been on a dinosaur phase. They love everything from books to toys, they play dinosaurs around the house pretending they are one and are so excited to learn things when it has to do with these magnificent prehistoric creatures. So I was super excited to be invited to spend the day exploring Liberty Science Center in Jersey City and to preview their new exhibit Dino Dig Adventure which will be open to the public tomorrow, July 21. In addition to the already amazing exhibits and experiences, LSC is also offering fun ways to learn all about dinosaurs! Families of all ages can enjoy a wide range of activities to keep kids bodies and minds active. The Dino Dig is set up outside on the second floor. It is a rooftop with beautiful views of the NYC skyline. Guests of all ages are invited to be real paleontologists for the day …
