Fun Night at the New Jersey State Fair Meadowlands

Thank you to State Fair Meadowlands for hosting us. As always, opinions are still 100% my own. Summer is officially here and we are ready for some fun! I’ve been looking for local things to do with kids this season and adding them all up to my bucket list. And to celebrate the first week of summer fun adventure, nothing better than a State Fair! Our family looks forward to State Fair Meadowlands every year! Last time we went though was when Gabriel was one year old, back in 2018. Then the following year Raphael was born and 2020 was canceled! So when we heard that this year they were opening, we had to visit! If you want to experience a big carnival fun this summer, State Fair Meadowlands is your destination. It’s located at MetLife Stadium parking lot from June 20th until July 11th. They are open weeknights from 5 pm to 12 am, Fridays from 3 pm to 1 am, Saturdays from 2 pm to 1 am and Sundays from 2 pm to …

Wayfare Plant-Based Pudding- My Kids Love it

I received this product for free from MomsMeet.com to use and post my honest opinion. Compensation for this post was provided. This year we have a bucket list of things we want to accomplish with kids during Summer. One of these things is to get outside for a hike or walk in the park at least three times a week. But with two little ones, you have to think ahead of what snacks to bring, because after a long walk all they want is something to eat. I have been packing some plant-based puddings on our lunchbox and the whole family loves it. Wayfare puddings have a perfect consistency and its very creamy with a smooth mouthfeel and a light richness. Its a bit different from the the dairy pudding you get in a box, but it is vegan and made with far better ingredients for your family. Their goal is to help people live healthier lives by providing their plant-based food options. They use beans, oats and seeds as base for their products and …

Yearly Home Maintenance Tips

Maintaining a clean home every year might not seem that difficult until you look at your home and figure out what you need to do. What are some of the tips that you need to check into? I have a few must-have tips to help you work on your home every year. 1. Carbon Monoxide Check: If you have a house full of guests that stay for a few days, many things are happening more often than not. The oven is being used more, the shower and water heater are struggling to keep up and the fireplace and furnace are being used to fight the cold nights. With all of these in overdrive, one thing that is working hard is your carbon monoxide detector. If you don’t have one, put this on your list as soon as possible. Detectors are available at home centers and discount stores around the area. You can find more information about these alarms at your local stores but you’ll want to make sure that they are properly installed to keep …

Outfit: Summer Dress and Straw Bag

Happy first day of Summer! Summer is my favorite season to shop for dresses and I especially like finding bright summery dresses to wear. I am loving Shein selection of dresses this season. So many cute prints and styles to choose from. I am in love with this floral A-line dress. Its lightweight and the length hits at just the right spot on my legs. Its the perfect summer sundress. I went with my true size small but if you have bigger bust I suggest going up one size as it runs a little on the smaller side. I paired it with a very cute straw bag. There’s just something about wearing a classic straw bag when summer finally hits. While the natural material usually has a low-key aesthetic, there are plenty of styles that look way luxe thanks to their structured silhouettes and unique handles. Whether you’re heading to the beach and you need a good carry-all tote, or you want to add more of a vacation flair to your ‘fits (without actually going …

Our Visit to Medieval Times in NJ- A Recap of a Fun Night

Thanks to Medieval Times Lyndhurst NJ for our complimentary invitation. Last night we had the opportunity to visit Medieval Times for the third time! My first time attending the show was back in 2008. It was actually a date night for me and my boyfriend, today my husband 🙂 After that we went back again with friends and family and had a blast. Now after hearing the news that they were reopening I wanted to take my two boys (4 and 2 year old) for their first experience. The Medieval Times is a themed dinner show that includes a feast, horse showcases, knight games and live-action battles and jousts. My older boy has been talking about seeing the horses all week long and last night he was so excited! They open the doors one hour before the show and the Medieval Times experience begins the moment you see the castle. Once inside, there are employees wearing traditional Middle Ages attire to greet you. The grand lobby has colorful decor lots of weapons displays with several …

A Day in Central Park + #ootd

After over one year we decided to go visit NYC and picked Central Park as our destination. Since the pandemic hit we haven’t been there and I was really surprised and happy to see that the city is starting to go back to normal. There is so much to do in the city and I was excited to take the kids to explore. We went to our favorite sushi restaurant spot which is located on 81st street and 2nd avenue. And after that we went for a walk with the kids along Central Park and picked a nice spot in the picnic areas for the kids to run and play bubbles.

Tips To Prepare For A Safe Summer

Summer is finally here and I know many of us are excited to finally spend a “normal” few months outside with neighbors, friends, and family. It means lots of time outdoors, BBQs with friends and neighbors, gardening vegetables and fruits, and summer cleaning both inside and outside. It’s about spending quality time with the ones we love. However, with all the excitement there should be some tips and rules for your kids to have fun but also safe summer.  Have A Check List To Close Up For The Night There are a few basic things that you can do to keep your home and your kids safe this summer. One important point to do is to make a checklist of all the things that you need to do before you go to bed each night. Some of these items can be checking the windows and door ( and making sure they are closed and locked up tight ). You should also make sure that this includes the window, as many of us enjoy the fresh …

Flavor Your Life- Italian Cooking Class

I received this productfor free from Moms Meet to use and post my honest opinions. Compensation for this post was provided and this page may contain affiliate links. Eating healthy nowdays is a priority for most people. But when it comes to choosing what is good for us, it can be difficult to know what to pick. One item I always make sure I have home, is olive oil but I have to admit I always feel lost when shopping for it. There are many varieties! Do I pick virgin, extra virgin, cold press, and where should it come from? Some say it’s okay to cook with, some say it’s not. Help please! Thanks to the Flavor Your Life campaign it all becomes more clear! This campaign was created to provide education to U.S. consumers so we can make good decisions when purchasing extra virgin olive oil. It is supported by the European Union, Unaprol, and the Italian Ministry of Agriculture. I had the opportunity to attend a Flavor Your Life Italian cooking virtual class and here …

Our Favorite Pajamas: Pact Dream Big

This post is in partnership with Moms Meet and all opinions are my own. My oldest son, now 4 years old has very sensitive skin. If he wears any fabric other than cotton he starts to get itchy and gets very unconfortable. So I had to change the way I shop, specially for his pajamas, which is an item he spends lots of hours in it. When he was a little baby, I was introduced to Pact which is known as Earth’s Favorite™ clothing company. Their pajamas are made with 100% organic cotton that is GOTS certified, soft and breathable without toxic chemicals. Pact strives to make sustainable kids’ clothing affordable, and they’ve been quite successful in achieving this mission. Relative to most other ethical or sustainable kids’ clothing brands, they are less expensive. Despite using organic cotton and partnering with Fair Trade Certified™ factories, they keep their costs to customers down in part by creating really simple clothes and sustainable basics. They also sell basics in bundles to further reduce the cost per item …
