Why We Do a Holiday Hershey Lodge Staycation Every Year

My family was given complimentary stay at The Hershey Lodge through the Hershey Sweet Insiders 2025 There are a lot of places you can go for a quick holiday getaway, but year after year, we keep choosing Hershey Lodge. It’s become one of our favorite family traditions, and by the end of the year the kids start asking, “When are we going back to the Lodge?” Here’s exactly why this staycation works so well for us and how we stretch a simple one night stay into two full days of fun. 1. A One Night Stay Feels Like a Two Day Vacation One of the biggest secrets about Hershey Lodge is how much time you actually get to enjoy the resort.  Early check-in perks Even if your room isn’t ready, you can check in early and head straight to Hershey’s Water Works (the indoor water park). The kids love the slides, the Reese’s Water Walk, and the basketball at the pool. Honestly, this gives us almost a full extra day of fun before we even …

ZooAmerica in Hershey,PA

I received complimentary season pass to visit the park in exchange for a media coverage. As always, all opinions are my own. The kids have been asking to go to the zoo for a while since we moved to PA last year, so this past Saturday I took them to ZooAmerica in Hershey. Keep reading to find out all about our day trip adventure. Things to Know Before you Go! ZooAmerica is known as being the North American Wildlife Park. There you will find over 200 North American animals on exhibit. You can expect to see bears, prairie dogs, mountain lions, bob cat, deers, otters, eagles, etc. You can find a list of all the animals you may see on their website here All visitors are welcome to spend as much time as they would like observing all the animals. Spring Season at Hersheypark

I received complimentary season pass to visit the park in exchange for a media coverage. As always, all opinions are my own. For many years, Hersheypark has been on my bucket list! After moving from NJ to PA on Christmas last year, I finally got the opportunity to visit the park with my family during the winter season of Christmas CandyLane. And now that I am living just a few minutes away from the park I can not wait to explore and have fun at Hersheypark all year round! With that being said, if you haven’t heard the news yet, I am excited to announce that I am one of the Hershey Sweetest Families for 2023! They have chosen me to be part of a blogger team who will be sharing all about Hersheypark experiences! Together with my family, I am hoping to be helpful in answering any questions you might have about the park and also share all of our experiences at the Sweetest Place on Earth!!! So let’s start talking about the spring …

GATSBY- Low Calorie and Low Sugar Chocolate Review

I received this product for free from MomsMeet.com to use and post my honest opinion. Compensation for this post was provided. Chocolate is one of my favorite treats and I usually like to have a piece of chocolate after lunch or dinner, but knowing the calories and the fats in chocolate I try to stay away from it as much as I can. So when I heard about GATSBY Chocolate low sugar, low fat and low calorie I knew I had to try it. GATSBY Chocolate is the lowest calorie chocolate on the market with half the calories of other premium chocolate. It was created by the cofounders of Halo Top ice cream which I love and always buy. They spent over a year working on the recipe with their experience innovating a timeless classic treat to combine great tasting with low calorie and I’m so glad for that. I think that for any chocolate lover like me, the idea of a treat that we can eat more of without thinking twice about the calorie …

Kittatinny Campgrounds – Our Stay at the Evergreen Riverview Cabin

We received free lodging at this camping. All opinions are my own. This past weekend we escaped the craziness of the city and headed to the Catskill Mountains in upstate New York to spend a few days at Kittatinny Campgrounds. Kittatinny is the pioneer of the river outfitting industry and has been operating on the Delaware river for 80 years! Their multiple locations are strategically located to provide a diverse selection of river trips and give you the best in riverfront camping. With two campgrounds across two states, there is plenty of space to discover the beauty of the Pocono and Catskill Mountains. Kittatinny Campgrounds has long been our family summer getaway destination. Before Gabriel was born in 2017, we used to go for a camping trip at the Kittatinny every year. We always enjoyed it so much! The contact with nature, unplugging, the sounds of the river and all the river water sports made us want to plan a getaway every summer. So this year, I wanted to take the boys to experience some …

A Day Trip to Sesame Place in Langhorne PA

I received complimentary tickets to visit the park in exchange for a media coverage. All opinions are my own. This weekend we took a trip down to Pennsylvania to visit Sesame Place amusement park. Sesame Place is located in Langhorne, (just outside of Philadelphia) and is a park themed entirely to the world & characters of the kid’s show: Sesame Street. Since the park is only about an hour away from our home in New Jersey we left at around 9 am (the park opens at 10 am) and got there just a few minutes past 10. Parking at the park is $30 and for preferred parking (which lets you park closer to the park) prices start at $50. We received preferred parking ticket and were able to park pretty close to the entrance! When you arrive at the entrance of the park, all bags will be checked. You can bring in water but no outside food. They will check your bags first and at the second gate, the staff will scan your tickets, and …

Family Fun Adventure to Diggerland USA

I received tickets to Diggerland USA in exchange for an honest review/media coverage. If you are looking for a unique place to take your kids, you have to visit Diggerland! Diggerland is the only construction themed adventure park in all of North America! “Here children and their families drive, ride and operate heavy machinery in a safe, family-friendly environment. Diggerland is the most unique amusement experience in the world.” Yesterday we had the chance to visit this gem for the first time. We had such a fun day and I shared a few highlights of our day over on Instagram and got tons of questions about our visit. So on this post, I’ll give you all the insider information to make sure you have the perfect day at Diggerland NJ. The Rides The park opens at 10am and so does the Water Main waterpark but the dry rides only starts at 12pm. So we planned to arrive at 11am. It was perfect timing to walk around and explore the park and also get our stuff …

Swim Lessons at Goldfish Swim School in Springfield, NJ

This post was done in partnership with Goldfish Swim School in Springfield, NJ and we received free classes, however, all opinions are 100% my own. If you follow us on Instagram, you probably have seen that the kids are taking swim lessons at Goldfish Swim School in Springfield for the last few months and I wanted to share our experience with swim lessons because they’ve been such a positive asset to our lives. I’m not a parent who like to over schedule my kiddos. I believe in extracurricular activities, but I really cherish our time home and not having to run from event to event yet. However, I also believe that swim lessons are a MUST. Summer is coming soon and we are basically always around water and having a sense of ease knowing my child can get to safety in case something happens is a top priority in my book. My four year old son Gabriel took a few swim lessons when he was a baby. He has always been happy around water. But …

Liberty Science Center- Wobbly World Exhibit

Thank you Liberty Science Center for inviting us to preview the Woobly World Exhibit. As always, this post is 100% my opinion. Now that temperatures are getting colder, I’m always looking for activities where kids can explore, release some energy and have fun. So I was super excited to be invited to spend the day exploring Liberty Science Center in Jersey City and to preview their new exhibit. In addition to the already amazing exhibits and experiences, LSC is also offering an immersive exhibition called Wobbly World which is exclusively for kids 5 and under. Young guests are invited into a bright, interactive, slightly off-kilter wonderland to explore balance, motion, an cause and effect. The Wobbly World exhibit is located on the second floor. Designed by renowned toy designer Cas Holman, it revolves around the concept of balance, draws inspirations from art, physics and an intrepid toddler’s first steps. We had the chance to meet Cas in person and learn more about this amazing collaboration! My boys had so much fun exploring the whole space. …

This post is sponsored by the New Jersey Lottery and tickets were provided for creating this post! As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own. I love to have gifts on hand for people that are often forgotten around the holidays. The people who deliver our packages, the secretary in our doctor’s office, swim class instructors, hairdressers, our neighbors. I’m thankful that I have an inexpensive, yet sought after holiday gift idea for all of these people: the New Jersey Lottery The New Jersey Lottery has four Holiday themed Scratch-Offs available for the holiday season. The tickets come in different themes and different price points, including $1 Festive $50’s, $2 Holiday Lucky Times 10, $5 Holiday Delight, and $10 Blowout. These holiday games will make the perfect last minute gift, stocking stuffer, party favor, for anyone and everyone on your list over the age of 18. While the tickets are beautiful and festive on their own, I like to take one step further on something as simple as just putting the scratch-off tickets in …
